Michael is a forward thinking, creative, fast to market strategist.

His career began in retail management, moving to Arbor Drugs where he became the purchasing director for hard-line products and imports. Later with his own consumer products start up, he launched several successful products over a span of 15 years, many personally invented. Michael created new product categories for retail including giant candy pillows under the “Sweet Thang” brand, multi-player plug and play video systems carrying the name “TV Poker”. A noteworthy brand “Storybook Pillows” was invented and patented by adding a unique form factor to children’s books. Michael has been awarded several patents and trademarks. He further accelerated his entities growth by opening multiple showroom locations, global operations and driving distribution to over 45 countries.

Michael spends his time consulting and advising in startups, and/or mature business’ needing innovation/renovation. He continues to maintain relationships globally in the retail, distribution, manufacturing & licensing community and carries a comprehensive understanding of marketing, sales, operations, finance and distribution. He also lends his time to local community economic development initiatives.

Michael has been on CNN, ABC News, and quoted in many trade journals. His products have been featured on QVC, HGTV, CNN, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Wired and many other media outlets. Several products have been advertised in 20+ global markets.

Shara is a creative analyst with an eye for the latest trends and what converts the customer.

Brand building is at her core, having cut her teeth working to launch a liquor-filled chocolate brand into the United States. She has spent over 35 years in the sales, marketing and client/customer-facing industry with the last 16  being specifically focused on leading brands in CPG.

 

She lends a highly creative, analytical and innovative approach balanced by financial prowess focused on success, results, accuracy and monetary growth. She also is a natural leader who finds growing, and pouring into, others to be one of life’s greatest rewards.

 

Shara has been fortunate to get to guide brands and private brands in the personal care and beauty space for the last 13 years.

She and Mike have worked together on various projects for 16 years, and finally get to lead a company and brands together.

​

Shara’s personal time is prioritized with loving her people and pups well, travel with her partner, David, triathlon training… and shhh… trimming trees.
